Yeah it was a great looking ride, but...... Did anyone else get the feeling that this kid knew what was happening all along??? The whole family are big fans of the show... the lady in the car saying "you are being filled by a camera crew over there" when the fake cop is talking to the kid.... I don't know - the whole thing seemed kind of fake. I know if my car chosen - they wouldn't be able to pull this stuff on me - I would have figured it out in no time...

Anyways - great looking car and pretty trick rear end set-up too.

That car was my favorite of all the cars they've done so far. But I'm partial to '66's, :) . Their color scheme was pretty close to what I plan. But different, :D .

I don't think any of the people on that show are really in the dark about the deal. How many people do you know that can keep a secret that long? Especially to a family member. ;)

Yeah that's what my wife and I were saying. If they are big fans, then the kid knew what was going on, or should have.

Did you see the show last week. They did two sisters vehicle, one car, and one truck. Well one of the sisters kind of figured it out, and even said something about being on the show during one of those "pranks".

Kind of hard to keep everything a secret now that the show is so popular.

I'm wondering how many sharp watchers caught the fact that "we made the wall" in last nights OverHaulin' episode?

Jim Holloway, from Mother's Polish, ordered a system for his own '67 El Camino last year, indicating that he was intrigued by our design, and that he had heard excellent reports from other very satisfied customers. We sent his system out to him with a strong sense of pride, with Jim reporting back that the Elky was also going to be displayed at the '04 SEMA show (BONUS!). This, in and of itself, was FANTASTIC - all that we could've ever hoped for! "Wow" - we thought! How absolutely cool!

Fast forward to the last week in december; I get yet another awesome call from Jim, indicating that he finally had a chance to actually drive his Elky after the SEMA show, was VERY HIGHLY IMPRESSED with the available braking power, overall astounding response, and the general engineering and craftsmanship of our systems. So much so, that he asked if we would supply a system for use on the TV show OverHaulin, in episode #215 where they were building a '66 Chevelle !!! As you can imagine, we shipped out a system with a BIG SMILE :hail:

Fast forward to March 15; We tuned in with anticipation, not knowing what to expect whatsoever, to our suprise watching the master himself sketching out the lines of the '66, with the unbelievable realization that right over his shoulder on the wall was our company logo ! :eek: It was a surreal moment, not actually fully believing what we were seeing - heck, "we made the wall" - how totally awesome, wow!

Watching the 'velle getting built, then all of a sudden - there it was! Our system bolted to the firewall of that bad boy! I did have to pinch myself, as you can clearly imagine (nope, not dreaming!).

So, I'm curious - how many casual observers may have noticed any of this? We knew what to look for, and were completely amazed at how many times the company logo was clearly visible, and how many times the system was shown in passing, though do believe that the casual viewer possibly may not have caught any of these details?

Overall, it was a fantastic experience for us, and would gladly supply another brake assist system for them anytime, anywhere, that they may need one. Jim, if you happen to stumble across this post, THANK YOU VERY VERY MUCH - really! :thumbsup:

I had given some thought to letting you guys know ahead of time (actually discussed it with Scott too), though since we had no idea if we were even going to get mentioned at all, I chose not to (egg on face = not good). Having watched the initial airing of this episode, I really am curious if any "eagle eyes" out there actually caught it !

Believe it or not, I DID notice it. When Foose was doing the sketch I saw a glimpse of it, and said to myself "did that say "Hydratech"???? So I kept watching closely and verified that it was Hydratech!!!! Congrats!!!

I love it, that 66 is painted like my 64, but with a lighter grey, gives the car a low, shark look.

The phones have definitely lit up nicely since that episode aired, and sales have definitely increased = all we could ever hope for. :D

We definitely have been working VERY hard over the last few years to "make this happen", and are also well aware that it will still take a few more years yet to really call it fully established. It IS nice to see progress and growth, and we'd like to thank all of our great customers, as we wouldn't exist without them.
