I wanted to do Fuels exhaust just like that with v-band clamps but ran out of time. Nows its done and what is on it works great !

That's how it used to be. The pics you see here on Lateral-g were taken 2 days ago by Payton King. It's getting completely changed from the West Coast Customs version, even the color is changing.

Yeah I was kinda confused. But now I get it.

ok....lets see if i understand this. they took some super throw down 800+ SB2 built by some special nascar guy....... then they ripped it apart to "detune" it, so they could have a decent street motor. i guess i just dont "get-it".

A Cup motor tuned to make 815 hp and turn 10,000 rpms is a little peaky for street driving, not to mention the fact it idles at almost 2 grand. They are hard to drive around the garage area much less the street. Jimmy also would not like to keep barrels of race gas at his houses. I would say a pump gas street motor that makes 650 hp would be good enough. The car is going to have a/c as well. He is not trying to build another race car as he has a whole stable of those at his disposal.

Danica Patrick, now Jimmie Johnson, what well known driver is next to get on the Camaro bandwagon? :faint: At least it isn't a '69.

You can add Jeff Gordon and Dale Jr. to the list, I think they both have 1st gen Camaros in their garage.

This is going to be a pretty badass car I worked for Jim Ptigrew (If you didn’t read the article Scott wrote that’s whose shop it is at) Saturday and we rehung the front sheet metal to start construction of the dry sump oil tank. I have should have some update pictures next weekend.

else. Jim Pettigrew is suppose to pick it up some time this week and bring it back for final assembly. The motor is not back from Hendrick yet, so he is going to do everthing else while he waits.

Once the car is back, I will take some progress shots.
