Hey guys,
This isn't my usual topic however I'm at speed bump and reaching out to one of the only places that could possibly help. LAT-G and PT
I'm getting married this coming march, My fiancé' and mother-in-law-to-be are going crazy with wedding plans.
And I've been left with a small portion of planning for my suits, a cigar lounge, whisky corner and the of course, the CAR.
This is about the only part of the wedding that interest me so I'm glad I have full say over this small detail.
The problem is the only available wedding cars in this area are to the likes of rolls royce/ Bentleys or the not so classy stretch hummers etc.
Our wedding will be at a very nice country club in the Mooresville region and my car demands are slightly less traditional, as thanks to the whisky corner and my favorite selection of drinks available, I only expect to arrive in the car, and certainly won't be driving it away.

Now it seems no-one is willing to lend me a DB5 or Porsche 356/ old 911, so my next pick is something pro-touring, and since everyone at the wedding knows I've been building my Camaro for 2 years, but don't exactly know why, I think it would be a great chance to include a passion of mine.

I wil also be having an engagement shoot in August, My photographer is very good(meaning expensive) it could also be a great chance for some excellent professional pictures of your car.

If anyone is in the Charlotte/ Mooresville region, or knows of someone nearby who'd be willing to earn some money for a short amount of time in march, I'd love to get in contact.

Detroit Speed is in Mooresville, they may be able to help you out as well.
Good luck with the wedding!

Thanks guys
those are some interesting suggestions.
I'm going to have to say no to the monster truck and nascar, for the sake of my marriage.

Being Australian, with half the wedding also Australian, I know a lot of people would like to see a nascar for the first time. (no-one suggest I arrive on a kangaroo please, although I am trying to organize a kangaroo for a brief appearance)

And I hadn't considered Detroit speed, however my car is speedtech equipped and the body work was done my Ambition road, which is owned by an ex employee of theirs, so I'm not sure they'd be too interested in helping me out.

I wish I could finish my car by then, but it isn't financially possible to build an LS3 AND go through paint jail and assembly in 9 months plus having a wedding in NC followed by a reception in Australia.

Maybe try Memory Lane Museum on 150 in Mooresville. They used to have movie/tv rental cars, not sure if they still do or will rent to the general public.

My wife got us an old Rolls. It was fun but wish it was a muscle car instead.
