We're having a problem keeping the car idling .It will run a little bit and die . Went through every single wire and sensor . The fast CS is a joke . If some has any ideas please let us know we're at wits end with this!

How long does it run - a few seconds, a minute?

You've probably already checked, but does it keep fuel pressure after it starts? Is it keeping consistent spark as it lights?

Another thing which can do this is having the base fuel map way off - if it is way rich or lean (usually rich) the engine will die as it transitions from startup fueling. Just go in and decrease the whole map by like 40% and see what happens, and try increasing instead if that doesn't work.

Thanx for the info! There taking it out of the car as we speak its GARBAGE!!!!!!!! The customer service is horrible !!! When the ''TECH'' tells you he has to ''TAP OUT'' meaning he has no answer for what the problem is !!!!! It's time to move forward with a different system I'm going with HOLLEY.

Wow, sorry to hear that Mario. Hopefully FAST is at least taking the system back. "Tapping out" is definitely not something you want to hear from tech support.

If you go off the interwebz (whatever that's worth), it seems about a 50/50 shot at service with FAST.
The magazine write-ups seem to have no problem getting tech help. Same with the big name builders.

Ya it got to be a joke ! almost 7 days of calls . The ''TECH'' swore up n down it was a ''INTERFEARANCE ISSUE'' .The fully completed loom was removed from my car and placed outside the car . And guess what still the same problem now this was after every switch, every wire was checked, replaced the MSD box countless pictures were sent. So at one point the ''TECH'' said he was done he had to ''TAP OUT!!!!!!'' WTF!!!!! On day one the issue came down to a bad ECU. Sent it back to have it checked... Its fine nothing wrong. Well after all that . Will send you a new ECU. Nope take this garbage back ! I'm not going to put up with this SH!T customer service if I have a problem down the line.

I have a Shafiroff 540 Ultra Street, and am currently in the process of swapping out my FAST 2.0 Sportsman system and converting to the Holley MPI system, utilizing Injector Dynamic Injectors. As a part of this conversion, I am removing my Ricks Tank w/Aeromotive A1000 and converting to a Vaporworx set-up with CTSV pump and returnless fuel system.

Larry

I've had both good and bad results with FAST XFI customer service. It seems like I used to have a lot better luck with them than I do in the last few years. If I write an email it will not be answered. I've written probably 3 separate emails regarding the XFI 2.0 and various engines and support for them. No answer. I used to be one of the people that stood there and shouted FOR fast... Lately, it's hard to deny what holley's got going on and seem to have better support. If I didn't have several XFI systems already, I would switch over to holley like many others have.

You (or your tuner) is going to love the Holley system compared to the FAST. I am in the process of tearing out an XFI 2.0 in favor of the Holley Dominator in a first gen Nova.

The Holley EFI just seems to be a lot easier to use, has more functions that are simpler to implement, etc. The FAST just seems to be older technology now.

I'm glad I read these post, I have an Edelbrock Pro Flo that I was thinking of upgrading with a FAST upgrade kit but I don't need customer support problems. I'm hoping Holley has an upgrade or I'll just go with an LS conversion.

I have had the exact same problem with FAST tech support.
I don't even call anymore.
Here's a really good way to get FAST support from the experts.
Go to cpgnation.com and then to the FAST Forum.
There are several expert users that reply to questions within 24 hours.
I have had tremendous luck doing this, and FastmanEFI is on there every day. He is very helpful and always gets back with insightful advice.
There are even a few top notch FAST XFI tech support people that contribute.
For anyone like me running an XFI, this is how to get tech support.
Hope this helps.

68 Cuda did it the best way possible.
When you buy efi parts from FastmanEFI, he provides GREAT support, answers the phone, replies to emails, and even helps with setting up fuel tables.
In addition, FastmanEFI provides step by step set-up instructions on his website for initial setup, startup, and tuning.
As far as Holley efi goes, FastmanEFI provides the same service.
Just saying, there is great support out there if you deal with this guy.

All I can say is that FAST didn't work for me . With that being said go buy the HOLLEY EFI system . Then if you are anywhere near Indy go right to Mike Norris and have him work his magic . Troy said my car is an absolute beast after Mike dialed it in.:king:

Congratulations sincerely. I have learned the hard way that any system will work so long as you have tuning support. Sounds like you got it! Good job!
