Can hardly believe this passed and is law now.
This came across teh SAN email, and to me it appears to be a major change to how we can title "replica" cars.
It seems to me this opens up the door for all sorts of re-creation vehicles and even goes right around existing state laws on these things.
From what I can tell as long as you have an EPA approved late model engine installed you are golden to license anything that can remotely be callled a recreation vehicle. Not sure I'm reading it right but it seems like it allows and codifies the home builder to install any "year appropriate" engine into a kit car as well as long as it has all equipmetn for that year. But I think the bigger impact is for manufacturers. I have often thought with all the new fuel economy restrictions and bland regulation and aero driven styling of newer cars, that there might someday be a significant market (ie bigger than just a few muscle car and hot rod enthusiasts) for "vintage" appearing cars with modern chassis and drivelines and driving experience.

Read this link and tell me that you couldn't start pumping out muscle car bodies with chassis and E.O. approved LS engines as turn keys now ? No title or registrataion hassles ? No state by state concerns ?
