Well we have been hard at it. The chassis is all mocked up. We have almost all of the fab on the custom bed wraped up. We have done quite a bit of sheetmetal fab on the cab and inner fenders. He have built the headers, and started on the x pipe and exhaust. we have made the custom resirvoirs for the wilwood pedal assembly. I'm waiting on big boxes of parts from Compcams, FAST, Air ride technologies, Kinsler, Aeromotive, MSD, and a few others. I ordered the new callies crank SLP short block this morning. It should be here next week. Other than that there is lots more work before SEMA. Bob Ryder of truckin has been up here now 3 times taking lots of pics for a 4-5 month article on the build up.
Let me know what ya think.

Thanks guys but most of the credit should go to my guys, They have been the one doing most of the craftsmanship. It seems like a full time job just trying to order parts and come up with the stupid ideas and keeping every body productive. If we were building this truck in a few years as opposed to 11 months I might get to take more credit. I excited to assemble the engine and dyno it at westech.

I couldn't agree with you more about the time it takes to research and come up with something new.
PS - The truck looks awesome

would a sectioned hood clear the stacks? the hood on those trucks is the only styling que i dont like.... wack a couple inches outa the front of it to give the hood some "slope" would make a huge difference that nobody would probably ever notice.
sorry...just thinkin out loud.... i dig everything about the truck....other than the way the factory shaped the hood.

I have thought about it but at this point I want to stick with most of the factory styling. Chevy did an awesome job on the truck, but the hood could be lowered. It will clear the stacks.
