Has anyone used it?
I am thinking I use it on a LS2 with Edelbrock Carb'd intake. I want to use their LS timing interface so that the FAST ECM controls fuel and spark.

I personally haven't used it. However, I am on my 2nd Holley HP LS kit. The first one is on a NA 402, and the other on a LS3 crate motor. They are amazingly simple, easy to use and easy to tune. I would highly recommend you look that direction, based on my own research when I was looking at all the self tuning EFI kits.
If you have any questions on the Holley kits, I may be able to help. FYI, I don't sell them, or have any interest in them, just a car guy who has used them.

Thanks, I looked at them and they won't support the HP levels I want to run.

Very mixed reviews on the 2.0. Several magazines have shown installs and claimed perfect results. But reading around on the web, regular Joes seem to be having issues getting the bugs worked out. Mix in with that, people claiming to "know a guy" who couldn't get it to work and that have an obvious dislike for FAST and it's been difficult to get a clear opinion on it.
My interest is that my engine combo is right at the horsepower/cam/compression limit of most of the "regular" systems and the 2.0 is supposed to be more adaptable....

Yep, that's my problem. Read mixed reviews with very little real information. The one on amazon nailed it pretty well, the ignition wire is very sensitive to noise. I think they're still working out all the bugs. I have a little bit of time before I need one, so I will probably continue watching. If not, I can always run factory stuff.

What kind of HP levels? I would be surprised that even the Holley Dominator series wouldn't be up to the task.

650hp +
Holley needs two throttle bodies.
FAST is good until 1K.

I have ez2.0 on my 433ci Ford FE , only 450hp in a 68 Mustang.
I posted an install review on the FAST site , search cyclone03 should get your there.
My "problem" with the kit comes from my work back ground, I'm an Aircraft Electrician. Wire harness' are my thing. The as built ez harness just put every thing in the wrong place to me. I wanted the CPU under the dash.
I made it work and have had no noise issues. I have sent the ECU back because it lost it's mind, wouldn't hold settings. It didn't leave me stranded as I was at home.
I have also switched to e85 , run gas to near empty and filled tank with 20 gals of e85,made the changes in the handheld and drove to work. I have lost the EFI ability of driving off dead cold though ,IMHO FAST cold tune on e85 is not good. The gas tune was spot on down to the 30f I tested it at. Start car and drive away, brainless.
I understand the new ezXFI comes with a partially built harness that should allow the installer to position the components where ever they want them.It also allows laptop tuning .
Most of the horror stories stem from noise, electrical noise, EMI. I believe my LUCK comes from using the MSD noise filter (capacitor) on the power side of my MSD. When I put my AC in the MSD talked to that computer.
The timing control is just idle, RPM all in, and vacuum.

Sorry, I should specify: LS style timing control, it will do it all, according to FAST.
Would you do it again?

Sorry I missed the LS.
YES! I would and will. I'm going to install the ezXFI on a "vintage" trans am style car ,100% track now ,will be street driven soon. Makes 590HP from 305ci.

Well, that is a first positive review. I am technical and have done a few EFI systems and wired a few vehicles in my day. Will probably do it.

The key sems to be clean electrical power. For some reason FAST doesn't filter the input power.
I had an alternator that lost only .8VDC ,Running voltage EVERYTHING on 12.5 VDC from 13.3 I removed the alternator and had a real alternator shop check it and found a bad diode.
The FAST display has a voltage display so the voltage drop was noticable.
I feel an MSD requires the capaciter on the input to protect the system from the MSD and the FAST needs the same to protect it from the system.

That is what I heard. Someone added a diode to the pink FAST 12v in to filter out voltage spokes while cranking and got consistent results.
