All depends on your preference, what you want to do with it and the motor it's going on.

I have a radial entry Whipple on a 427CI GM LSX with Air Flow heads. I wanted the old school look, high tech blower, EFI and more HP than I knew what to do with.

I got it. Ignore the 2x4 holding up the hood at my body shop. I am redoing the paint...

TVS2300

I think among the three most popular blowers - whipple, kenne bell, and Maggie (tvs2300), the TVS2300 has the most efficient intercooler.

Can't really go wrong with any of those though.

with most blower systems now days you cant go wrong... kenne bell, whipple, magnuson, even the newer edelbrock eforce blowers are nice. i like roots blower just because of the simplicity and how clean they install when they are said and done

The E looks very sanitary.

Only gets more sanitary as you add the side covers

Thanks Vince, yes one of the main reasons I wanted the E for the LS7, I want the engine bay to be as clean looking as possible. Car is actually at the shop installing that engine right now, I will post some pics when she's complete. I can't wait to see how she looks with the covers ...

It'll boil down to the power curve you want the blower to deliver really...

What do you want?

If you want instant and a flat torque curve , I'd go with a PD blower and a twin screw design. Otherwise, I'd go with a centri and look into Prochargers.

Do you have a pic of the engine installed with the hood closed? I love the rims, too

With LS3 heads you can use the ZL1 take offs for about 1/2 the cost of the others mentioned.

I have a 10 Camaro with the eforce, runs pretty dam good. I also have a 69 that I am building with a lysholm 3300 that I purchased from Wegner Motorsports, I have Wegner front drive as well. You could call and ask for Casey, I would think whipple setup for the 10 Camaro with throttle body straight out the front would be nice and a C&R racing heat exchanger. Good luck

For 700hp anything will work. But for big power in a street car, it's hard to beat a Vortech YSi with a good air-to-air intercooler and meth. It's a good streetable blower that will make almost 1,000 rwhp when pullied down. But having said that, I've never seen a centri setup I would use on a road course.

Lots of them :).

RIght now, I am working on a new blower scoop base, so I can level it out.

With a modest goal of 700hp... By the way, we live in an awesome era where 700hp isn't considered extreme anymore... But any of the blowers listed will get you to your goal. I would ask around and see which one will provide the best efficiency for your application.

I, personally, try to size the blower size to as close to half of the engine displacement as possible. Big blowers do not have to spin as fast and generally create less heat.

I don't know if it will work but may give you some ideas. Here is what I ran on my Nova (with a carburetor).
This is a scoop out of New Zealand the carburetor fits inside the scoop.

There is one company that makes adapter plates to run an LSA or LS9 supercharger on the LS7. I think it might run any one that fits LS3 style heads.

While superchargers make big power down low.... don't forget if you pulley them aggressively you can see a few bad things: belt slip and namely heat soak,

As others have suggested buy a used CTSv blower (ctsvowners.com) and plop some LSA/LS9 heads on your shortblock with appropriate cam and it will make 650rwhp and drive great. Their main downfall is heat soak though.... so if you do back to back passes or plan to road race it.... it will not run cool. A large reservoir helps.... but that will only prolong the heat soak.

The centrifugal blowers suffer from less heat soak.....

I haven't seen ANY E-Force blowers make big numbers on the dyno.... and not at the track either. A stock CTSv blower, stock heads, smaller pulley, cam/headers, e85/inj will run 10's all day long with a manual trans.... low 10's with an auto or faster.

Turbo's work too :) Boost by gear is a wonderful thing:
My other RX-7.... running a 100% stock T56 Magnum and McLeod twin disc.

I too am interested in a blower type setup but do not want to run a cowl hood. i have been looking into the F1a for a similar 370 ish build with a LQ4. also looking for high 6 low 700 at the crank. I have been getting mixed up as it will get me the power goal but not sure if it is right for the autocross/ road race plans. any one have thoughts on if this may be a better option for the OP aswell as myself.
