Can anyone help? I've got a 502 RamJet and a Ricks tanks that I need to plumb. I'm looking for some good advise for fuel feed and return size. Any and all advise would be appreciated. Is there a link or site that would list the plumbing (lines and fittings) required for a complete system? Thanks, in advance.
:(
Is the pump internal?
My tank from Rick's has a -10 outlet and a -8 return. I plan on running a returnless (dead head) fuel setup on my car where the regulator and return lines are right at the tank.

Yes, The pump is internal to the tank. It's a EFI set-up so I'll need to have a return as-well.

I usually use a #10 to the pump, #8 feed and #8 return, but #6 on return or both feed and return would supply that engine easily.

There is a pre pump filter in the tank and you will need to get a filter for after the pump to run outside the tank. From the tank 10- to a aeromotive fuel filter. the filter with the correct ends will be 10- on the input side and it needs to come out as an -8. Run 8 to the front. I would try to hardline as much as I could as if you use nothing but braided line you will get a gas smell. Something about pump gas smell will permeate the line. I think an 8- converts to 1/2 inch hard line, but double check that. From the regulator convert it down to a 6- (3/8 hard line) all the way back to the tank and use an end that will change a 6- to 8- to go back into your tank.
If I am not mistaken you will probably need a controller for your pump, that A1000 is a beast and will flow too much fuel at part throttle cruising. I think the controller is about $250 or $275 from summit.
Call the Aeromotive tech line and they will tell you exactly what you need. fittings and line sizing as well.
Mine is going to an LS motor so I have a y block, fuel rails, etc so my list of fittings will not work for you.

Thanks guys...this info is exactly what I was looking for. This is my first EFI build and was looking for some direction. I called Rick’s and spoke with Hector who recommended changing the output to 10- for future mods (plans of a centrifugal supercharger, later  ) ...Any other advice would be welcome
