That's the message I got today when I went to run a vid on my phone. I'm like, WTF??? First cookie tracking and targeted ads, then location services (not too bad unless your surfing the web and robbing a bank). Now they want to listen to my reaction when watching a vid. :drowninga:

What's next? :confused59:

I'd seen the same message and didn't understand why I'd need to do that - or more - why THEY'D need to do that...

This morning I read an article that says FACEBOOK knows when you're about to fall in love...

The other day I went to Tire Rack to check sizes for Hoosiers vs Yokohama AOO5's on a different website... Now - every page I go to has Tire Rack Ads... and I bought a couple Baileigh tools -- and their Ads are on every page. Amazing.

I noticed the Baileigh thing too since we bought the brake.

Happy to say I've got a stupid phone and have blocked virtually all ads on the desktop.

It may be 20th century technology, but it works for me.

Doesn't seem like a smart move by YT/google to want to hear from a guy known as 'Bad Ron' in some parts. :shakehead:

It's called cookies Greg. You search on Google for a wrench and then Google sells your information to an advertiser. I'm doing it for branding.

The site tracking for ads doesn't bother me in the least because while weird, it's harmless really. I do find it funny that I'm still getting Home Depot ads for the tool box I already bought but whatever.

The turning on microphones and crap isn't cool though.
