Hi Guy's,
I have a Friend that is looking to put a 5 speed in his Camaro, whats the best 5 speed, I told him to run a T56 Magnum, but he only wants a 5 speed.
Thanks

What kind of power/RPM will he be running? Street or Track? Need more info to determine the "best" 5-speed for his situation.
His next tranny will be a T56 Mag. :D
A modified close ratio TKO 500 or 600 might be a consideration.
I've heard good reports about this company's boxes: http://www.libertysgears.com/ttc2.htm

Before a proper recommendation can be made, we must know what he wants to use it for?
Is there a 350 hp 350 sbc behind it?
Or is it a 7000 rpm LS stroker?
Will he track it? Or just cruise it?

Thanks guys,
It will be mainly a cruiser, with occasional track time and 450hp small block.

In that case a TKO 600 would probably be fine, but if more power, rpm and track use is in the cards.... the Magnum could be justified.

OMG Todd :headscratch: :hairpullout: :twak:
My TKO600 shifts as smooth as silk, in fact one of the smoothest shifting manual transmissions that I've ever experienced ......YMMV
