Ok on higher HP boosted applications where fuel supply can be an issue, has anyone had any hands on experience with fuel surge tanks?
I get that they are a way of keeping the pumps in fuel all the time (assuming you can keep the pump supplying it in fuel?) but here is my question:
Would it be the same end result to just run a big A1000 in tank and return all the unused fuel at low boost/load?
If a surge tank needs to be fed by an electric pump anyways, if that pump isnt baffled properly it will still have potential fuel delivery problems right?
Next Question:
Boost referenced pump controller....... any thoughts on this? I have seen a few of them come and go but I have no real good information on them....
I am just trying to design a fuel system for a large centrifigual blower motor and I am just curious what the most effective method is. Read a bit on surge tanks and just wanted some feedback.
