A little background on this Project......I finished this car in 2010 and took it on the Power Tour.....had some issues with it but nothing major......Anyhow....it was a 16,000 mile all original car when I got it.......After seeing how Charley and Marks cars were so trouble free on the Power Tour I decided to follow their lead and went down the LS path....I bought a low mile complete 2006 GTO drivetrain from Cleveland-Pick-Apart and built the car around it........At the time I decided to by the GTO gauge cluster...(never understanding the complexity of getting it to work).......so....as the project progressed I had to rely on people a lot smarter than me to get things functioning........we ended up using the ECM (harness and ECM reprogramed by John at speartech) parts of the BCM and parts of the PIM........so.....after a lot of headscratching and trial and error we got almost everything to work...........But......The Nagging issue that nobody could figure out was to get the ABS fault to clear.......Now, remember we have a pieced together system and only using parts of the modules.......So.....You see where this is going.......So.....I drove the car for two years with that annoying "Beep Beep Beep" every 60 seconds and the fault took over the cluster.........
I originally built this car on LS1tech.com........So.....Out of the Blue I get a Email from a guy in California that followed the build......he asked if I ever got the ABS fault cleared.........I told him no......I loved the car and that dam beeping was annoying as Hell but I had learned to live with it.......He told me that he thought he had it figured out........LOL......I did some Data tracking for him thru the OBD plug and sent it to him......I get a module from him.....wire it in.....and Bingo.....Fault gone........Every function of the cluster works as a stock GTO........Rest reminder....Oil change reminder.....english....Metric........everything.. .....
The point of this post is...........Car guys on the Internet are absolutely awsum.......Without Eric's help......It would still be annoying to drive the car.......Now it's because of Eric's interest in solving a problem, the car is now a complete package..........Just freaking Awsum!!!

Here's what I started with
