just wondering if it possiable to turn the manifolds on the banks Kit upside down?
would than have an intermeadiate pipe and then mount the turbos the right way around where i needed them to be located (it pretty tight in there)!
could/would it work??
Thanks CHris.
PS. this is not a go at the backs kit, would love to use it as normal but it just wouldn't fit! :(

Chris,
Yes, it is physically possible to bolt the manifolds upside down. The problem will lie when bolting on the turbos. The turbine housings may interfere with the block once mounted underneath. Also, the weight of the turbo & exhaust should be supproted by the manifold not the bolts. You may also encounter oil drain issues with them mounted that low. This causes a lot of oil to blow by the seals into the both the intake & exhaust stream.
What vehicle & engine is this for? Maybe we can get some extra measurements to see if we can shoehorn it in there.

Jason, thanks very much for your reply! :)
they wont fit the car im looking at using them on! its an Ultima GTR (www.ultimasportscars.co.uk). the bulk head tilts back and it very tight as it is!
what i was thinking of doing was to invert the manifolds and swing them so they sit backto front (ie turbo wouls sit at the back and be hanging down)! and then run a short pipe to swing the turbo into the conventional poeition on quiet a bit further back!
its only an idea (as everything seems to be at the min) that im looking into.but would be amazing if it could work!
Chris.

I've had a few inquiries about GTR's, but I have never seen any dimensions for possible fitment. Where there's a will there's a way. :D
