As a fan of this channel and most of its programming. I was wondering if there are any TV shows in the works or on somewhere else that deal with our hobby or shops that produce these high end cars like on this site and others. It seems to me with the super success of Ring Bros, DSE, All Speed and others, Along with celebrity interests like Goldberg and others. And if you haven't seen Redskins CB Deangelo Hall's Charger done by year one check it out. Seems like with the fast growing Pro Touring community and marketplace we should have more of a TV presence. I agree would like to see a show where they go into various shops and show off there work. A little like Rides but focused a lot more on the shop and skills. On every build would like them to ask the builder what there favorite part of the car is. What was the hardest part. Also Upholstery it takes mad skills and they never show it. No dead lines No drama just sick builds.

Not a car build show, but a bunch of our buddys and forum members have a show coming on Speed next year call "R U faster than a Redneck". I know Bill Howell, Brian Finch, Yancy Johns, and I sure a few others are invloved.

Doubt you could do it on network TV without the drama draw crap...


So, it should be or might have to be a web-based TV series like what V8TV does - or a YouTube kinda deal, or a How To Do It type of show. Look at what web sites, forums and such have done to the paper magazine industry. Not sure how you could sell adds to pay for the costs - maybe there is some way to do it...

Man do I miss the original speed vision, I got directv in 99 just to have speedvision, they had everything from airplane racing to gocarts. Hope Velocity goes in that direction cause right now it's currently my fav. Most of the programming on speed blows.
