Al!!
I really dig the extra details you capturd on the pics! It was easy to get overwhelmed with all the amazing builds. I was thinking if each car got undivided attention for even 5 minutes it woudl be impossible to absorb all of the amazing work that took place in each and make all of SEMA!
Plus there were several other distractions along the way that made it harder to keep the focus on lol :) (sorry guys I will try photoshopping this ugly fella out of the pics!!) A lot of them had "aftermarket" and some "Lateral" upgrades too!!

Al,
The first two photos in Post #237 of transaxles are from the company I work for. Thanks for posting those!
This was my first time at SEMA and I was working our booth the whole time. The show was definitely overwhelming but I saw a lot of great cars and met a bunch of great guys from the forum.
Nice talking to everyone out there!

Al thanks again for the hook up. Can't thank you enough!
Gui I thought you were there for the cars... but it appears you were a little distracted by the Beauties. Where are the pics from the Lexani and Giovanna wheels booths? Holly hell is all I can say.
I'm already looking forward to next year :willy:

Finally some girls of Sema pictures. Those photo sets seem to be a bit thin this year.
I like the Grinch even better knowing its a Ring Brothers car, they showed admirable restraint on that one (I find their cars a hair over styled at times - not a dig, mucho respect, but we all have our opinions)
Carbon fiber exhaust tips, that's a new one. I keep avoiding any kind of carbon accents on my car as its not vintage and I keep thinking it will go out of style any day now LOL. I totally dig functional light weight carbon but the accents as a styling thing has been downhill for me since the G-force Cuda roll cage ha ha.
I do better than a lot of folks, so no envy here, but do you guys ever stare at some of these cars and just think where does all the money come from ? I know a lot of these are "sponsored" or shop builds, but still at some point the piper has to be paid- maybe the way I should say it is I'm surprised so much money finds its way specifically into our old muscle cars. it seems like the going retail to build a car at this level is $250k+. I'll take one Nelson billet intake for $8k Alex !
Thanks again for the photos guys I look closely at every one.

Anyone has more info on the turbo setup on the Wagon? I talked with the guys, but gt conflicting information there. Supposedly it is a 76 on a smaller housing??

I don't remember what the exducer was on the exhaust or the A/R of the housing but it is their Mid Frame aka T4 based. I do remember Reggie from Turbonetics telling me it was the largest T4 (housing and wheel) they had. It should support 700-800 but with a bunch of back pressure on that engine. Tim's talking about building a 418" LSx for it now so he will definitely need something bigger then.

Thanks found more info here:

"A “mid frame” 76mm GT-K turbo with a 75mm turbine wheel will be pushing boost, controlled by a 50mm Newgen wastegate and a 50mm Godzilla blowoff valve, and cooled by a custom Spearco air-to-air intercooler."
Sounds like a good recipe for 700ish HP?

It will be a torque monster that's for sure. He never planned on boosting that stock LS3(E-Rod) past 10 psi so it should make around 600.

Pics of the Interior of the Mustang

Thanks Marty.
I like what they did, the door panels are especially nice and understated but I'm not a fan of the porno red leather. My buddy has an M5 with a black and red leather interior and I"m always kidding him with that same line.
But overall I really dig the '69 interior theme. The '69 was always my favorite Mustang interior.
Probably not the best thread to ask, but looking at the front end of the car, how did they go about building such nice chrome trim ? Looking at the build photos it seems like it might be cut-in-half stainless tubing that is then shaped and polished (or maybe actually chromed? can you chrome aluminum ? ) Does anyone have any insights on making custom stainless trim ? I have searched the internet but haven't really found many good tutiorals on how the big name shops do this.

Yes you can chrome aluminum Preston. Chrome billet wheels are one example...
