This is a built, complete and ready to drop in Pontiac 400 engine, from oil pan to carb, dist etc. Perfect runner and ready to drop in. I bought it with a car since the owner did not want to separate then sold the car. I believe this is a 72-73 GTO engine block, the engine was fully rebuilt, has new gaskets and hoses, etc.

I am in no hurry to sell and basically want to sell to recoup some of my funds. I also have the complete bellhousing with parts, as well as a Muncie 4 speed I can include for extra.

Looking for $2500 for the engine. I have headers, etc I will include.

The gentlemen I bought form had a local shop build the setup about 5 years ago, and mentioned he paid almost $5000 for the build, and per his specs the engine whoudl be pushing in the 400 to 450 HP range. However I have no paperwork, but you can see all teh new gaskets, and other signs of the rebuild. The engine has a more agressive cam, sounds insane mean and runs smooth. I made the car run before I sold teh car and it drove like a bat out of hell, I literally almost pissed myself as the car took off and I could not get traction on the old BFG tires :D

reason of sale is I am going with a LS swap otherwise I would not sell it.

Thanks!

Ray, I will take some pics and send over. Basically the engine is painted black right now (I was on the fence between full black or Pontiac metallic blue since the car is already white pearl).

I will send some info your way. BTW do you know any of the guys in Houston (HALF group?) Big first gen group over there.
