So, the wife sees the progress on the car and says to me...

"I wish I could drive this!"

"yea, me too... I think you'd have fun"

"So you're going to teach me to use the clutch, right?"

The moment of panic set in when I realized that we only have one car with a clutch.... and that's got 600hp. :willy:

I only could get out... "Sure, hun... why not?"

Potentially expensive problem..............Maybe a small tractor in an open field instead? :D

Buy an older S-10, teach her to drive with it, and sell it. They hold their value well.

I have a 92 volvo 240 wagon, 5-speed. I see them periodically for less than $1k.

I have taught and let my wife drive my car, she even did a autocross with it, stick shift and all. She even stole the car while I was at work and took pictures of her with the car for Valentines present for me.

She loves the look from guys.

95 civic ex 1.6 vtec count? It's 5 speed with all new stock engine and full rebuilt transmission using honda parts. Fun to drive and can hit 7 grand in first gear before shifting if i wanna beat on it, not to mention get's 38 mpg. Cheap and semi fun for a to and from car.
