I have a Grandsport rolling chassis with just 2k miles. It is basically a Z06 with a 6.2/LS3 dry sump motor. The ONLY way you can get a LS3 dry sump motor. It has the TR6060 Trans with the hardened shafts etc same as the Z06, The Z06 rear diff, The Z06 big brakes...in silver instead of red with the big performance rotors. GM built this as a more affordable way to get almost all the performance and handling of a Z06...I guess??
Comes with the complete brake system....ABS and Booster/MC, all brake lines present and not bent or cut. Comes with complete fuel system...fuel tanks and pumps, all lines present and uncut. Complete clutch M/C and lines uncut. Comes with complete air intake system with MAF sensor and original GM filter which is like new!. Comes with the original engine oil cooler, transmission cooler, rear diff cooler. The complete engine harness..uncut!. The throttle pedal...Brake and clutch pedal ass. Complete exhaust system. I could go on for a bit on what all is included... But that should cover everything that isnt obvious from the pics.
The price is 18k... which is a good deal for a basically brand new setup! Willing to ship....but as always, prefer it to be picked up. Trade offers are welcome as well.... as in like GM Muscle.. Camaro, Chevelle, Firebird, Corvette etc. Pro-Touring car of some kind.
See pics here please...

***COOL UPDATE*** The LS3 dry sump motor is hand built right along beside the LS7 and the ZR1 motors!! These motors are hand built in Wixom, MI. Here is a quote...
"You may be interested in knowing that LS3 dry-sump engines are hand built at GM Performance Build Center in Wixom MI. One builder does the complete engine from start to finish.
Each engine has a builder ID tag on the front surface of the intake manifold (IAFM), on the RH side."
I went and looked and sure enough the motor has the hand built tag on it along with the guys name who built the motor. I just thought this was cool. I will take a pic of the "Builder ID Tag" and post it tomorrow.

Thanks for the trade offers guys. I want to also add to the above list of possible trades...
Will also consider a Duramax truck trade, Maybe a GM gas truck...for the right truck. Also Cummins truck trades considered, Enclosed Trailer... 20' or longer. Bobcat, Skidsteer, Mini Excavator, Larger Kubota tractor than I have now.
Of course the Camaro, Chevelle, Corvette, GTO, Firebird etc... is always welcome:thumbsup:

Ok... So I think there is the option to part this out if there is enough interest in most everything. I have had some PM's about this. So Let me know who wants what and we can explore this as a option.

Ok everyone....Here is a one time shot on this!! You WILL NOT find a price like this anywhere for what you are getting...period! I need to move forward on my 70 Camaro build. Aariks football season is almost over and we will be getting on this car pretty hardcore.
For a few days only...the price will be lowered $3000. yes $3000. Buy it for $15k
Where else will you find a package like this with just 2k miles? I bet there is not another 6 speed drysump GrandSport for sale in the country.... I cant find one. This is a 2010 and has the newer and improved drysump sytem. The tank is much better than previous year Z06 models. The LS7's are starting to be rumored"The Problem Child" Suffering some major failures due to valve stem problems(valve heads breaking off due to heat) and taking out pistons.,,,and then the block. Also oiling issues....which are wiping out cranks. The Drysump LS3 has been said to be much more reliable.... and unless your on a LONG straight away on a LARGE track the LS7 has no real advantage anyway.
So I dont want to cut the floor out of my 70 camaro....its 100% rust free. But if this doesnt sell so I can buy a (just for example...AME Chassis) Then this will be getting stretched 2.3" and going under the 70 and will be called "Project GrandSport" Will be the first of its kind:thumbsup:
This wont be available very long at this price...

But I would really like to see it under your Camaro...
Thans Gus... That was the plan for sure.... But Im pretty sure its actually sold now. Will update the thread for sure here soon

Ok...so I had a few guys who really seemed interested but no money yet. This is the last bump before I start parting it out. The first thing that will be listed is this very rare factory dry sump LS3 as a complete dropout with just 2k miles.

Out of curiosity.. how did you end up having such a clean, complete running gear from such a new Corvette? What happened to the body?

.....when the post came threw to my cell phone, because the "Title" portion doesnt show up. So I was scratching my head until I logged on and could read it here. Its all good Payton..... I couldnt refuse getting on the wagon for a good laugh  Payton and I have been talking a lot today:thumbsup:
I got it from a guy who was going to use it for building a hot rod project and whimped out. He bought it from a insurance co. or agent prior to it going to a salvage auction, or maybe it did go through the auction.. If I remember correctly... it was a theft that had been stripped and even the front part of the frame/body had been cut off.:wow: So I think it was sold as "Parts Only" or something like that. I have even thought about trying to find a wrecked car to use for parts to put this back together and build a race car out of it and race the crap out of it, like real road racing! I have bought a few parts, but they were with the intention to incorporate in the 70 camaro build. But it really needs to be under a cool first or second gen camaro. If Payton doesnt use it Im going to have to part it out before I end up cutting my 70 camaro up :willy: Its like a double edge sword....It needs to sell, but every time some one shows interest, I start having second thoughts
