What would be involved in dropping a 1999 Trans Am rear seat into a 1968?
I have a donated rear seat, but on first glance it doesn't even look close. I know the trans/shaft tunnel hump would need to be carpeted as these are pure bucket style vs. the bench.
Ideas...pictures...been there done that?

have to make filler panels for the side. i had my upholstery guy make me a center armrest for between the rear seats and welded a tab for the back of the seat to bolt into so that it would fold down.

Okay made some progress. Thanks for the pm with the photo link. That helped a ton. I bolted the top in and fitted the bottoms in place and mounted with a bracket in the front bottom 1999 seat bolt mount. I bent the 68 upper seat mounts over.
I used some cardboard tape and wire to fashion fillers on the sides and middle. Put 3+ layers of cloth on. Inthe morning I will grind and fill these and spray black for now. Will cover in vinyl later.
I will post pics later.
I have about $50 in fiberglass stuff to make this donated rear seat that matches the donated front seats work.
