Hi all, thought I would post up some progress pictures of our '57 chevy 210 hardtop being built by Brightbuilt Hotrods in Salina, KS.

The engine is from Street & Performance, the chassis from Roadstershop. Currently in mock up, firewall is cut out and setting engine height and level. Mini tubs should be installed soon as well as other body modifications.

Should be a pretty fun car, Brightbuilt is also building a '55 with an AME chassis and LS3. Sitting side by side, the AME looks like a good cruising chassis, the RS looks like it could handle 1000hp and never blink and eye. Very happy with the RS chassis so far!

'57 setting in the garage a week before it went in for surgury with LS-6 bigblock and TH400. Hadn't been driven in 9+ months.

Sweet build. I really have a thing for the tri 5's. If only I could convince the wife :)

Just a suggestion, try posting your pics with photobucket or another pic host. Much easier to look at instead of having to click on each pic. Here's a link on posting pics http://www.lateral-g.net/forums/showthread.php4?t=9127

I'll be sure to set up a photobucket for the updates:thumbsup: .

Thanks everyone for the compliments! This has been a project we wanted to do for several years (LS and new chassis) but never had time to do anything ourselves.

We found Brightbuilt and have been very happy with thier work, but more importantly how awesome they have been to deal with. I will update this thread with pics as progress is made. They want to get this car done pretty quick but they have alot going on at the shop.

Other details on the build:
Vintage air, Dakota Digital VHX gauges, T56 Magnum, smoothed firewall, minitubs, Billet Specialties 20x12 and 18x9 wheels. It will stay the black cherry pearl that it is currently but will be resprayed to get the mile deep look back that has been worn out over the years.

Yeah...:_paranoid It was supposed to be a new chassis and maybe LS1 or LS2 and freshen up the old paint to make it a good reliable driver. It has kind of spiraled a bit off track:rofl:

Go big or go home I guess:morepower
