Looking GREAT!!!!
Thanks!

Chris it looks great. How do you like the Drive Junky front drive it look sweet! I like that panel you have for the air intake.
Thanks! As for the Drive Junky, to be honest I have not seen it on my car yet in person. I need to get to shop and check it out soon, working at UPS the last 2 months is pretty busy so no time off allowed. But I did see the system at SEMA and meet Zach the owner, it is a great piece from looking it over at the show and Paul said it is really nice also. One major thing I like about it is that there are no spacers in the kit when bolting it all up and you can unbolt any single component for any reason without having to remove any other part of the drive system. I hope I won't have to be unbolting any though!! LOL
The close out panel idea I "stole" from Jay that did the blue 69 awhile back. And it was really easy, I just told Paul "hey I want this" and poof it was done! :D

Beauty!
Thanks

Beautiful job!
Hey thanks Ryan, Your car has always been one of my favorites on the site here! Next time I get up to Boeing I will have to take extra time and meet up with you to check it out in person!

Looks great. Love the green. The engine compartment is coming together very nicely too. It contrast well witht the black and green.

Nice job. :trophy-1302:
Thanks, it's been fun trying to make everything blend well. Your car is really nice, that grill is sick!!

Killer! Love the green and green combo.

Wow...very impressive.

Very nice Chris, glad to see some updates:trophy-1302:
Thanks Jeff, I have a bunch of pics of your car that is providing me some good ideas for the interior. I love your car its so original with just the right touch of custom! That's my goal.

Looks great Chris, nice to see it moving forward!!

Hope nothing to bad with your eye surgery, I can relate on eyes burning after they dig around in your eye for awhile!! Hoping for a fast recovery!! Hey thanks Rick! yeah nothing to major with eyes but yeah burning and blurry!! And yes I am glad car is moving forward too! I have some friends in your area we are going to visit this summer and hope to drive the car so we will have to meet up!!

I agree 1000%. Especially on the cheaper paint jobs because the painter doesn't wanna bend over that low to do whatever it takes to get it done on the lower 1/3 of the car. Same goes with cutting and buffing. Said painter doesn't want to bend over that long to do it right. Usually, on many cars, you'll notice that lower 1/3 of the car is a tad lighter in color due to the lack of attention.
Dutchboys did a amazing job and are leaving nothing undone any where.

That fathom green right?

Man i love that color..... Even more now that it looks soooo good and slick on your car!!! Seriously, WOW!!!

The rest just matches, up to snuff.

Are those straps the way the shock reservoirs are held or if your missing the billet "caps" on the motor side? Never seen em with straps and a little unsure of the straps.... I like em, just not used to them i guess (?). Oh well... :-)

Hey, about that front drive kit. It looks on driver side it would clar an "up and forward Stainless Works turbo header? I have a hard time getting good perspective for the pass side and i see that upright standing canister (?) behind the a/c compressor that migh be in the way of the header if one was to mount it with that system? If you could grab a pic of that space and clearance or just tell me what you think of the space around to clear a set of something similar to feed a turbo ('s).

Thanks!!! ...and VERY nice and clean set up.

Any "road worthy" date set?

Lead.
Thanks! I will get you some better pics of the R\H side and pm you with details, and yes Fathom Green!

Absolutely sick Bro. Way to be different and still pull of one mean look.

Thanks bud! I was waiting for another smart ass comment about valve covers! :D

Well i've been lazy about updating this so here is a few new pics of the interior all done. Some of the pics the flash was on and it distorted the colors.

The car is almost wrapped up, waiting on Dutchboys to get back on it real soon. They are crazy busy right now with a shop full of cars. Got a list of small items left and couple bigger one's such as exhust.

Question for you guys who has used the clear bra on there cars and how have you liked it?? Thinking of putting it on in a few key places to keep rock chips etc down to a minium if thats possiable.

Hope you guys like it I was trying to keep with the orginal type and style for the interior with a little moderen flare. I like how it turned out!

Here are a few more pictures of the car the last time I was up there looking it over. Paul used some orange tape to out line a hockey stick style stripe.
Got the A/C lines installed. and the dash cluster almost wrapped up.

I hope we can knock it out real soon and get it running so I can enjoy it soon!

Coming along nicely, Chris. The interior is growing on me. I think the pattern is good and you achieved a modern look to the classic lines. What seats are those?

You may want to PM StreetKing. SW puts clear bras on his cars. I'm sure he could give you some insight.

Good luck

The seats are Procar Elite's. I bought one covered and the other uncovered. I will try to reach out to SW and get his thoughts on the clear bra.

Chris...the car is sick! Are you going to add the orange pin striped hockey sticks? I'm kinda diggin it.

Hopefully Paul and the gang will get it done and back to you soon. It looks like it's ready to go and you could be driving it this summer!!

Curtis, I am with you I kind of like the orange pin stripe. But no it will be a black and flat clear I believe to match the rear tail panel.
Thank buddy glad you like it!!

Jay,
Thanks! And yes you are correct it's just a carbon fiber dash insert I made to fit the DSE dash. I have been trying my hand at making some simple carbon parts. I might even have myself set up for a mold making class at the advanced composite school I attend for work. Then maybe I can try my hand at some more advance parts.

Thanks! I think the interior turned out great. I was a little worried after I left the interior shop, and not because of the quality of work. But more if what my vision\idea was and what he came up with would turn out. But everything worked out great.

Clear bra is great, make sure to use higher grade stuff like expel or 3m. they are almost invisible on the lower surfaces of polished cars. I would make sure to let the paint gas out as long as Paul is comfortable with before installing.

Hey thanks for the info Mike, I was looking into the 3M brand. That was one of my main questions was how visible it was on the car. As for the paint I will talk with Paul but I would think its had plenty of time to cure and out gas, it has been painted since Dec of 2013.

No problem. The only reason I knew was because I wired it up. This is the pedal we used.

The ECM is pinned the same as a factory LSA engine. I'd assume the throttle pedal would be no different.
