For those of the non-DIY persuasion.

Thoughts?

I've been loving this car for a few years since I ran across it. I think I first saw it at SEMA 07, then I saw it again this year. It's a sick sick car. And the asking price for the roller seems very reasonable to me.

I saw an add in Grass Roots Motor sports last month......it was in the Pro-Touring article they ran. I thought t looked kinda neat. Haven't seen any pricing though.....

Looks like they removed the pricing but I remember it was something like $40k+ for the roller but you had to install drivetrain and interior I believe.

Killer.

My bad on price. That says it's $59.5k for rolling chassis.

I've been meaning to drop by and check that car out. I've got a new secret project that might be able to benefit from some of their expertise...

Man, after watching that video that is exactly how I picture My Chevelle in My head. But with wider tires and fender flares. :unibrow:

I gave the guys a call today. On their website it mentions that Bill Osbourne designed the suspension. When I was talking on the phone with Brian over there, he mentioned it again. If you're like me, the name doesn't ring a bell. However, at least one of the cars that Osbourne designed a suspension for probably does - Big Red.

Right now their '69 is apart having the engine redone, but Brian said it should be done in January, at which point I'm hoping to go for a ride. I'm really interested in the ride quality of the suspension on the street because it uses heim joints, but only has 400lb springs up front.

Will report more later.
