I want to use the Racepak IQ3 on my car but I have a LS1 and they only make a EFI module for the C6 OBD-II to run the racepak.

I'm not quite sure if the C6 OBDII interface socket is just a different shape than the LS1 and if the female end can be swapped to work with the LS2 type using the LS1 computer???? Or if it's just a totally different?

Can someone give me some insight on the differences on LS1 type OBDII vs. LS2 OBDII (2006-up)? And if it's even possible to run a LS1 with a LS2 ECM and OBDII. (I also like the size of the LS2 ECM rather than the LS1)

I apologize for my EFI ignorance. Thanks!

the connectors being different is typically easy to correct or adapt by simply procuring the correct connectors and swapping pins/wires. The issue you are going to have deals with the sensors being different in how they work not just their connectors. The LS2 uses different reluctor rings on the crank and cam. You'd have to change those physical parts on the engine in order to do what you want. I'm unaware of any other way to do this other than physically changing the units. IMO, it's not worth it.

well if the e38 has to be used, then you would need the 4x cam reluctor wheel and do the lingenfelter 24x to 58x sig. converter

but if you are allowed to use the gto e40 ecm then all you have to do is splice the injector connectors, knock sensors, and relocate the map sensor or extend the wire on it
