I wonder what everyone is doing with all new floors front to back and it has the EDP coating......what should I paint them with for the best sound proofing and protection. This will be a driver so show worthy is not the case here.Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks

I would spray it with SPI epoxy primer and you can also use their spray in bed liner. www.southernpolyurethanes.com

Got some epoxy primer from NAPA and used a cheap gun with GREAT results! It's the way to go IMO. A lot of the pros recommend epoxy

My floor was rusty, but not rusted through. Since I didn't want to replace the floor pans, and they were still structurally solid, I painted them with POR-15 which encapsulates the rust and stops it from spreading. I know your floors are new, but if you can find something like a POR-15 that might make the floors more rust resistant, you'd be ahead of the game. Good luck.

The Eastwood company sells their version of POR15- called rust encapsulator. It's good stuff.

I will use PPG DP epoxy primer, seam seal and then use Raptor spray on bedliner.
