I have been working on pedal assemblies for a 69 & 70's here @ the shop. The 69 pedals are reproductions from Classic Headquarters that we cut off the the pads & machined some bases that were welded so that we can mount adjustable pads. The pads are stamped stainless pcs. The pedals for the 70 are forged pedals that Wilwood will have in production soon. We machined pins & hardware so that they will be a direct replacement on the stock base. JCG will have these here pretty soon to sell :D

I see where the 70 pedals have a provision for a balance bar for twin masters.

We are not going to do a balance bar.. We just used the balance bar pedal to get a view for how pedals will look on base..

Nice---as always man--those look killer--. Hey, if you need some "prototype install" feedback, I know a 69 Camaro that is yours if you need it. Looking forward to May and June brother---should be very fun!

Great idea Cris. I wear my racing shoes on the street due to the proximity of the gas pedal and brake pedal. As soon as I get more miles on the road course I'll be looking to do some small ergonomic changes. I'm thinking a slightly longer pedal arm would be nice to change the pedal ratio as well. That would make the change from teh 7/8 to 1 inch bore seamless.

Uh-hum. Chris? Chris! My 69 is your test car, remember?
J/K Bro. The pedals look awesome!
After we spoke about your pedals, a thought hit me. The first gen top down design is not exactly as 'user friendly' as the floor mounted pedals like you see in Porsches. Brand pureblood aside, I'm wondering why someone hasn't gone that route if we're talking true heel/toe driving?
Let me know your thoughts?

Ron- What I like to do is offer something that is direct bolt on.. To do floor mounted pedals requires farication & fitting.. Me personally, I am not a big fan of floor mounted pedals for Camaros.. Maybe we will experiment with your 69 on doing some floor mounted pedals
Every driver has a different way they like to set up their car when it come to pedals & gas throttle including seat position..

Excellent points, Chris. When I roll it on in we'll take a hard look at it...
