Brian --
I took your course a few years ago in Redmond, WA --- it was very informative and I learned a ton!
I would recommend it to anyone - even if they don't plan to do any tuning on their EFI -- they'll still come out with more knowledge about many things motor related.
I'm still talking to guys about how much more important TIMING is over A/F ratios...

Actually - Brian -- It wasn't YOU teaching the course... it was the crew from "EFI University" that I took the course from... I should have paid more attention before posting! DOH!
You tuned my buddies BLACK 56 Chevy BBC after I installed his 8 stack and got her up and running... I'm still impressed at how you went about your job.
Good to see that you're doing this "gig" now!!
Cheers! Greg Weld

Thanks for the compliment Greg. I have been working on this book for Comp for a few months now and traveled back to their facility a few times too.
I personally am doing this gig and also teaching some of the EFI University classes as needed. I still have my own thing going but relocated to Arizona, have been traveling and tuing a bunch lately.
good to hear from you.

Ah ha!!
I was hoping you'd be around to see me thru the fire up and tuning of my new motor -- with that same 8 stack set up -- but this time around using the new Fast EZ-EFI Multiport harness and ECM....
Where in Arid Zona did you relocate to? If you're in Phoenix -- stop by Bob Reams shop (Imagine Injection) -- he's a great guy. He's also next door to Arizona Street Rods - which is a fun shop to see what's happening.

Lake Havasu City. We love it here.
3 1/2 hrs to Phoenix
2 1/2 hrs to Vegas
3 1/2 hrs to Fontana
Good for racing. The Lake here is awesome!! I just contract out for different jobs now, travel and work with other shops.
You shouldn't have any big problems with the EZ EFI, I have played around with several and they actually work very well. A big hit for the guys at Comp.
Just balance the butterflies and you will be fine. The ECU will go into learn mode when it gets warmed up and will start tuning on it's own. Don't expect it to run perfect at start up, it still has to learn. We found after about 4-5 dyno pulls it was better than the carb was prior. It only got better after running it longer.
