Does anyone know which would be a better set-up for me to run on my 69? I currently have the stock rebuilt TH400 but I have never really been happy with it. I miss the 4 spd I had in my 64 Vette. Looking at the Hurst TREMEC TKO 5 SPD conversion package for my car, I see they have the hydraulic option for the set-up. I am a little concerned that the regular NOS set-up wont clear my Lemons headers. They are 2 1/4" tubes with 4" collectors. In terms of installation, would it not be easier and cleaner to go that route? I want to do as few modifications (cutting) to the car as possible.

Why don't you ask Lemon's if their headers will clear a stock clutch linkage?
