I have a friend that runs the 10.5 tire outlaw class. Set a local track record for the 8th mile at 5.03.

Check out his new rig...holds 3 cars, golf cart, sleeps 12 and has 3 flat screen TVs.

...and he is looking for sponsors, I would guess so

I wonder if I can talk him into being my chase vehicle for the power tour.

Sleeps 12? They sing Gospel music on the side? lol
Nice rig, would make great chase vehicle too.

5.03 1/8th is getting it done! :hail: Do you know what motor combo he's running?

That's quite the tow rig. With that on the Tour, you sure wouldn't need any hotels. :D

I think it is a 632ci Gene Fulton with a monster blower. I sent him an email. I will let you know.

That is some rig...as in how to travel like a rock star and drive cars on the side.

I wonder if it has hot and cold running women?

that is definately a bad ass rig, and definately no offense ment but i was curious if you are sure on the 5.03? What city is this. The only reason I am wondering is here in dallas to even qualify for the outlaw 10.5 races you have to run 5.40 and most of the guys run anywhere from 4.6-4.9. once again I am just curious.

small local track in Alabama, I believe they call it Lassiter mountain. Track is not that red hot. His fastest time is 4.7XX, but not there.

I was wrong on the motor. 526 ci Hemi, alcohol injected with a blower making 42 lbs of boost. Trans is a twin disc, air shifted Lenco.

I believe the seat has been modified for the huge set of balls that it takes to drive something like that....although I would like to say I would like the chance to drive something like that, in reality I would squeal like a little girl and run away.

4.52 won the Outlaw 10.5 here on SEMA weekend...he put us on the trailer in the 2nd round elims. We ran Sonny's 598 motor only that Sunday, but I noticed today we ordered a couple 4 stage Fulton 638's on Monday. :unibrow:

There is a great saying...."If you want to make a million dollars racing cars......start with two million!" :)

Man-o-man...more truth than fiction in that one-liner!!! Problem is...there's just no replacement for that "feeling" an instant after the staged lights come on and the tranny brake comes off. We're running both cars this weekend in Fontana...I think that's called double jeopardy :drive:
