no doubt it will have a hemi, but that still doesn't make up for the god awfull exterior. when will these companies stop destroying these muscle cars? first the GTO (althought the 05's do look better) and now this? i would rather not have a new camaro, then risk having it come out like this.

The General better wake up dang it.
That will be a popular car. I can see it lowered and rolling on 20's. It would probably look pretty good that way.

All I can say is "FUGLY". Looks like a Durango roll over, or GM styling got a hold of it. I would have bought that concept car if it came out, and I am not a Dodge fan.

I think you are right Scott. It does however make the GTO look pretty nice :willy:

That concept car is beautiful...I saw it at the LA auto show. Wish they had made that instead. Would have sold well despite catering to a narrower demographic. :(

Same comments have been made about the 300C. :P

The just took the wagon off the magnum and called it the Charger. It will sell, but I dont think it deserves the name at all.

It must have been the computer at work why they didn't come up. They came up here at home. But now I'm wishing they hadn't...UGGGG :thmbsdwn:

Isn't a Charger supposed to be a 2-door coupé?
In general the present styling of cars have become ugly, to square. Probaly a reaction to the sleek round cars from the nienties.

I say this because Chrysler seems to have a golden horseshoe up its butt. This car is uglier than Buckwheat's Hemoriods, BUT, Chrysler will sell a million of em 'cause they dare to be different.
I know the Aztek and the Avalanche were "Different"- but in a much different way than that. :)
I see a lot of the 300's around (and I was surprised how many were at SEMA), and this design is more aggressive, so I'd guess they will be every bit as popular as the 300's.
I agree Jan, it's cool to see harder designs, that's why I love the direction Cadillac is going. The CTS, to me, is the best looking sedan ever made.

You are correct Scott, Caddy is kickin' Butt in the design market right now. The CTS is a great looking Car.

The new "Charger" doesn't look bad for a 4-door sedan. It just shouldn't have been named "Charger".
They're calling this a Charger too. lol

The newly designed Dodge Charger will make its debut during Speedweeks.

It seems no matter how the car companies try and bring back old platforms they always seem to flop unless they bring back some of the old look also, i.e. Mustang. If GM would do a new camaro with some of the old lines it would probably be cool, otherwise we see new and remember the good of the old and it doesn't work. I wouldn't buy a new Charger or new 4 door Camaro. My .02.

Dear Dodge,
When you come out with new cars, atleast try and make them look different from one another. And one more thing, if you are going to bring back a classic car that was originally 2 F#CKING doors, LEAVE IT WITH 2 F#CKING DOORS!
The problem is the mass market. Most people would want the 4 door sedan, and dont cherish the name on the car. I mean most probably dont even know the original chargers. I have to really like the 300's and think it was an awesome move and some nice setups they are now coming with. I also love the CTS and new STS. This "Charger" has so much potential for aftermarket like the 300, it will sell, and I am willing to be in the coming years there will be some serious factory available power in it.
Sales is always gonna beat out nostalgia (I can't spell)!

I also find it rediculous that NASCAR still uses specific models, even though they look nothing like the real thing. If it werent for the headlight stickers on the front, it'd be near impossible to tell what the hell the car was supposed to be.
