Hi guys - just wanted to give you a heads up that we have had a customer in California that had their AME Tri5 Chassis stolen from their garage. It was a bare chassis with no suspension. If something like this comes up at a swap meet in CA/NV/AZ for a too good to be true price, please let me know what the serial number is and I can let you know if it is hot or not. Also, all AME Tri5 chassis have a serial number on them - if you see one for sale w/o a tag be very suspicious.

That's a damn shame. How someone can steal like that from another person is beyond me. Thanks for posting Craig!
Where on the chassis is the number located? Can you give the last couple of numbers in case someone sees it they can identify it on the spot and maybe get it rescued?

I am not sure about the rest, but the '55 at Columbus had the number on the top of the left frame rail just behind where the upper control arm connects.
Sorry to hear, I hope he gets it back :( . I will keep an eye out on the forums since I am not in that area.
