FInally!! I want to thank all the members that helped with this difficult decision. Thanks for all the pics, links, phone numbers......
The official orange for the entire Mustang and the stripe on the camaro is going to be
Sunset Pearl Orange by House of Kolor. :D
We are going down tonight to order at least a quart that we can play around with. They are just going to refund our money for the other orange.
Here are a couple examples.

I do not know this as a fact, but I was told that the house of kolor uses a dye instead of a pigment and does not hold up in direct sunlight...has a tendency to fade and break down. Dupoint has a new paint out that looks just like it, but uses pigment. I cannot remember what they call it. A guy that builds street rods told me this at his display at the Charlotte show when I asked him if the orange on a street rod frame was the house of kolor stuff.

Just a heads up, again I have no proof only hear say.

The color, by the way, is beautiful that you chose.

My truck is champagne fizz and maroon! The champagne fizz completely covered in 1 1/2 coats for a silverish color that is impressive! No modleing or any other problems either!

You still can't knock HOK either though(not saying anyone did) they make good product as well!

And you THOUGHT you had made your choice!! HA! Should have painted it and posted after!

I have never read or heard any HOK problems, and there have to be a few guys on here who have used it on their cars that would have spoken up by now on it

Be warned the sunset pearl, like many other HOK pearls, is very sensitive to the undercoat color, almost like a candy. Play with the color over different bases, of coarse a light base will light the color up a bit.
