Hey, congrats on admitting in open forum about your street racing ventures with pics so any cop who might be browsing can recognize all the players. I know guys who have gotten arrested like this (in car high speed runs to be exact). Bragging about street kills is one thing but posting pics of your car and the competition with easily identifiable structures to determine where this activity took place to accompany the admission of guilt is not always the brightest thing to do.

geez, sorry guys i didnt know i hit such a sore spot. There was a guy before who posted about racing and everyone was happy for him for winning...

didnt realize this was a bad idea to post that here. it was my first and only race with the car, didnt realize that i was the only one who had ever done that.

EDIT: My bad guys, i didnt this was poor form to post here. My apologies.

Working awesome!! Just got them bled 2 nights ago, the only problem i'm running into is the stock length studs need to be about 1/2" longer :willy:

Yeah, you have to swap them out. VERY dangerous if you don't, only about 3 threads holding the wheels on.

I went to the local CarQuest/NAPA store and went through their Dorman catalog. Looked up the stock studs and then went to the back for the sizes and lengths and found two different ones with the same knurl but longer studs.

True, however in my case thankfully i have a good 4-5 sometimes 6 full threads holding the lugs on so i think i'll be ok... *crosses fingers*

Max,...I don't think so,!!! Just think of the loads being transmitted through the wheels, uncross your fingers & get some longer studs, & quick! lol. We sure don't wanna hear about how your wheels dropped off on here huh? :unibrow: Safety is just sooooooo important, how'd ya feel if you crashed & killed someone? Do it now, you know it makes sense
