That is true, but I wouldn't be concerned about rotor design. Unless, he wants to go back to B&M series from the 80's.
Jeff
it's not just rotor design. Screw chargers compress internally. it's a completely different style of charger. As far as the original posters question goes, There are no other options besides a Magnacharger Classic122 or a Holley Blower which is a roots that I know of.

what I'm looking for is a good working fuel injected supercharger that bolts between the cylinder heads like the magnacharger or whipple nothing against a pro charger but id rather the roots [style].

No idea if this would work on your motor.

I had a Kenne Bell on my Ford 302 and loved it. Worth giving them a call to see if they have something that will work on your engine.

any particular reason you don't want to go with a magnacharger? Seems they have what you are looking for.

i like the magnacharger, i was just wanted to see what else is out there and compare price. from what can gather the magnacharger is $7700. without ECU wiring and sensors maybe an other company may have a complete package out the door.

which compressor did you get quoted with?
There are a lot of options with that system and you can have them build it with an mp112 or an mp122 there are intercooled and non intercooled options. IIRC the price should be a lot less than what you posted. Let me make a call and see if I can get you a better price.

they can offer it as a complete system. I know they stock the harness and sensors you'll need. The kit on their site as described is $6600.00 in satin

IMHO a 2300 is WAY too much blower for a 350ci motor. Unless I missed if the op said anything about the ci of his small block.
And the 2300 can make a lot more than 4 psi. I have run mild set ups on a 112, and a 122 making well over 14 psi.
dutwielers 434ci LS motor made over 950hp at an average of 15psi. The motor can only make as much boost as it is set up for or pully'd for.

thanks guy's for your help I have sb 400 scat crank H beam rods edelbrock etec 200 cylinder heads all brand new in boxes don't have the pistons or machine work don yet. I could building this engine with about 8.8 compression 7 psi boost. I have most of the necessary things to build a very cool sb but the magnacharger would cost about $6600 satin or $7700 polished. I think the engine would produce about 550- 575 hp.with very good torque #. I like the idea of this set up very much. I still need to get belt drive system for what ever engine I put in the car.so I'm try my best to justify the expense of this cool engine.[magnacharger don't offer ecm and sensors for this set up but edelbrock do's for $3000.for every thing].so build this engine or go with an LSX motor I have posted LSX vs sb 400 to get as much feedback as possible.if I could find a supercharger completes with everything I need for $6-7000 I would go with it. but that is still high compared with an motor from frank say at about $4-5000........................Gen 1 Gen 1E M112 Fuel Injected Kit (includes M112 Supercharger, intake& top plate, 42lb injectors, fuel rails, 78mm intake, intercooler assembly, crank pulley, idler assembly, assembly, distributor hold down, alt bracket, 6 rib belt, gaskets, spacers and hardware)
05-33-12-005-PO Gen 1E, 112 Fuel Injected, Classic Drive, Long Water Pump (8.85) Polished $7,700.00
05-33-12-005 Gen 1E, 112 Fuel Injected, Classic Drive, Long Water Pump (8.85) Satin $6,600.00

Anthony - you'll be getting a lot more hp than you think if you go with a decent sized SC. The torque will snap your neck.
Here's my Whipple on a 406 Chevy (400 SB) that I've had for about 5 years. I'm at around 750 lb-ft at 3500. I also opted for fuel injection.
