hello
my car 68 camaro is undergoing the rebuild it so deserved.
my question is ive seen all the flush mount pictures so far and loved the look but hated the fact you still need that little scrap of trim on the lower window pillar.i figured since my car was trying to be smooth i had my body guy finish the bottom of the pillar out by buildnig it up with welds then plastic.i dont have the cash for the glass just yet but i want to make sure when i do it will fit correctly and look rite in that area.in another words the car will be painted before i get the glass.should the lower portion of the front window pillar just maintain same shape from top to bottom and finish nicely to the fender?ive heard rumors of a new kit for the glass that may be coming out.
i like the flush glass that is out now but cant really swing 2k for it.the rumor is the new kit coming out may be half the cost?i would love some info but understand nothing is finalized.
mabey i amthe realone will cut a discount for someone willing to show and push his product at some east coast shows/lol i do dream

thanks everyone

I was looking at a picture of Ring Brother's Razor. It has the flush treatment. It was also done without the chrome lower pieces. Might want to take a look at that car and see what you think. I also think they used a Nova windshied. If you look at the top corners of a Camaro. They come to a point. The windshield in Razor is rounded.

Are you talking about the piece of trim that is at the bottom of the windshield?

My personal advice is to not paint the car until you have the glass and seals your are going to run. That way you can final fit to the car and make sure the gaps are correct!

If you have any questions or need any information, please feel free to contact me anytime. I am free 7 Days a week.

As far as the fit is concerned, you can install this product at any stage before or after painting. The lower A-Pillar can be finished out or left alone.. You can also refine that piece of trim to fit the way you prefer. Keep in mind, that the trim piece was altered and two way taped in place to achieve the No Body Mod and reversible state. The customer with the Yellow vinyl top car wanted the trim to appear factory. The Red Car has no strip there, and looks fine also. Personally, I would finish and refine the piece a little better for a smoother fit. That way, you save on body work, and the car is still reversible in the matter of hours.

But, if you had the glass before paint work, and you really wanted to refine the body a bit, No Welding, you could really get a totally smooth look. You will see this in Up coming cars that are being built by very Notable shops and builders. The cars that I have used, were to show how you can install my product in a car that was already completed.

Again, I would be happy to answer any questions or give any information. I do have a couple of more sets that qualify for the 1500 introductory price offer. As far as the Rumors, they are just that at this point. I guess it is yet to be seen. But at this point, I have a product that is tested and functional.. Just let me know, If I can help...

Thanks
