im new to this site and thought i would share my project with you guys. I just started building this in november and all the fab is done now its currently going thrugh the body work.


I found the camaro in north dakota in oct which was 90% rust free except for windshild area. Due to a rough life and a few accidents the quarters, door skins, and 1 fender is being replaced due to heavy filler and poor patch panels. car was complete with orginial 327

things done to date

Art morrison corvette front subframe & tri 4bar rear subframe
9 inch strange alum center 3:90 gears 31 spline axles
strange coil overs
art morison headers and motormounts
DSE mini tubs & firewall panel
15.1 agr power rack
ls3 & t56 built by street rod engines W/24t reluctor cam & head work
willwood pedel assy with 3 masters cyls
fuel safe 22 gal fuel cell
8 point roll cage removeable side & center bars
08 z06 14" front and 13.5" rear brakes

Thanks for the link. What are your plans for the car? You have some serious hardware going into this machine.

the current plans are get it finished for the Power tour this summer. other then that im going to drive it and maybe find a road course somewhere and play a bit with it. I want to install a procharger on it but it might a bit much at first so that might have to wait till a week after i get it on the road :lol: Car should be in paint by feb and running by march. the wheels and interior will have to wait till late spring though due to slump in economy.

Cool project. If you are planning on Power Tour, make hotel reservations now. You can always cancel later if you aren't going to make it.

after a couple set backs finally got the car to the body shop. heres a couple of pics of the progress. I still can believe how clean it is for being a midwestern car, speedo is in Kmh so im thinking its a from canada.
