Have any of you guys got scale replicas of your ride? Is there anybody doing these by request?
I'd like to get a replica of my car done, and have a good base to start with. Has the correct stance, wheels, etc. Just needs a few modifications, and a colour change of course.
I don't know whether i should attempt the body mods myself, and get somebody to airbrush the car up for me in my colours. Or try to find somebody that does custom cars by request.

Here is a guy that mods diecast. Be forwarned though, you probably looking at $400.00 or more USD. If you contact him tell him that Brandon (sonoma01) from the Diecastpub sent you. His work is excellent and well worth the money. He may also be able to refer you to other people.

Brandon, I made that, it's really a shot of my car. I used photoshop to simulate a macro shot with a narrow depth of field like you'd see with a picture of a diecast or miniatures. I also over-saturated it and played with curves (CTRL+M) to give it a more dynamic look by stretching the tones. It works ok on images of car parts, but works awesome on landscapes. Here's the same effects applied to pictures that I took at Hoover Dam and of Hooters in downtown Memphis.
I think it works, at first glance, I think these do look like miniatures.
