Whenever I subscribe to a magazine it always takes a few months to get the first issue.

I checked Borders books the other night...they never heard of the magazine :willy:

I've been waiting for my first issue as well. I called the 800 # a couple of weeks ago and was told that my first issue is "supposed" to arrive by the 21st. Apparently, if you sign up for a subscription on some kind of reduced subscription fee special, you don't get priority mailing.
I called again yesterday and told the nice young lady that I still haven't received my first issue, and she said that she would have another sent out, but I wouldn't receive it for at least 7-10 days.

I signed up on Sept 14 and my first issue came yesterday. I already bought the dang thing because it had Scotts car in it, go figure!

Dang it! I still haven't gotten my first issue! I really want the current issue (the one with Scott's car on the cover) since I can't find it locally. I guess the only upside is that by the time I get the current issue, the next issue should follow closely behind.

Am I the only one that STILL hasn't received the current issue? I'm beginning to get pi$$ed.
I was supposed to receive the first issue by Oct. 21st. I called on the 22nd to report the missing issue and they told me they would send out another issue and that I should receive it in 7 to 10 days. I called back again and the guy (who was somewhat of a jerk) told me that I should have it by Nov 3rd. Well...I called again yesterday and was told that it would take 2 to 3 weeks (from Oct. 22nd) to get the issue!:willy: What is up with that!? No "sorry for the inconvenience" or any attempt to mitigate the problem...it was basically "tough luck...you'll just have to wait".
As much as I like the magazine, if I have the same problems with delivery of the next issue I'll cancel my 3 year subscription and just read the online version (for free). What a hassle...
