As you guys know I drive a station wagon. I bought it solely to help promote my business. I can stuff an amazing amount of supplies and equipment in the back and with my logo stickers on the back windows it's a rolling billboard. It's also unique enough and although it still needs a lot of work, it's kinda cool looking so it sparks conversation which leads to client contacts. I've often thought if I had the budget to really hot rod a company vehicle, what would I do? The thought of a rodded early 50's Chevy panel van has crossed my mind several times, as has an HHR panel. In thinking about a hot rod truck I've run across some pretty cool potential vehicles. Check it out...

We've probably all seen this one. Fast delivery!

Hard to tell if this is real or photoshop, but I wouldn't mind this picking my kids up...

How about this- a 50's COE bookmobile hot rodded out as a race car hauler with ramps to pull the car right in the back!

Or even something like this, and old Jeep delivery van slammed in the weeds with a chopped top and cool graphics.

Either way, delivery vehicles have some serious hot rod potential. I thought this month it'd be fun to take an opportunity to do a self promo theme car- draw what you'd do for your own company delivery/parts hauler vehicle. I suggest have fun with this, don't just draw a typical slammed pick up, but find something unique that appeals to you, maybe an old milk truck, or an early 60's van, a 33 Thames panel van, a 54 Ford sedan delivery, or??? and here's the cherry on the ice cream- put your logo on the side. So get out the markers and mice and let's see what you got!

Thanks for getting this started. I have had fun with these so far. Great way to take advantage of a slow time. I am so in on this one. Thanks will go to Brian and his way cool rendering in Rod & Custom. I am quite sure this has never been done before. Just hope I can get it done in time.

PS, Just to clarify, I mentioned trucks a lot up above, but I'm doing a sedan delivery wagon for myself. Only real rule here is make a cool delivery vehicle with your logo on it.

Hey all you 3-d guys, you're welcome to join in!! We need more than 3 or 4 of us posting up here!
