My brother's (Turbo Todd Kitchen) Outlaw 10.5 91 firebird, 526 BBC, twin 91mm turbos on alcohol. Qualifying pass last night for a race tonight. It has been 2 years trying to get this thing ironed out, special thanks to Alan Dudley/MFI http://i185.photobucket.com/albums/x31/jocelyn-hallie/th_100_3789.jpg (http://s185.photobucket.com/albums/x31/jocelyn-hallie/?action=view&current=100_3789.flv)

Very nice. Its insane what outlaw 10.5 cars are doing today. It was not long ago that was promod times.

What is that in the 1/4? Low 7's, high 6's? The conversion charts that I've seen only go down to 5.00 in the 1/8th.

Looks damn quick.

Hey guys, just got in from the race, Todd was #1 qualifer w/4.47 @169 last night, skipped first qualifer today, went 4.52@169 in second and final qualifer, but broke the oil pump somehow, the pump and gear slid down and wouldn't engage the dist. drive shaft so, we were done. Anyway, speculation, what a wonderful thing! with the single turbo the car would back half 45-47mph, that puts you at 214-216mph in the 1/4. I was talking to Alan Dudley when he was here about back splits/front splits. we are really close to his other customers cars, but I don't remember what he said bach split should be. We were thinking MAYBE 6.70s? But most of this outlaw racing is going to 1/8, which is fine w/me, 210-230mph is just flat flying on 10.5 tire cars! Shawn

The track I go to... www.piedmontdragway.com
Well, the big dog cars.. full out pro mod cars with 500 inch Hemi's with blowers and 800 inch nitrous motor cars run
4 teens to 4 .20 in the high 160's to low 170 in 1/8
You damn right that Camaro is fast..

Outlaw 10.5 is my favorite class!
I just wish the guys around here (DFW, Texas) would all get together in unity. There's about 3 or 4 groups that don't get along or can't agree on some rules. With so many different organizations the cars are spread too thin. What could be 16 car fields are now 8 car fields & the spectators still pay the premium 16 car field prices for half the show.

Totally agree w/you, Todd and I are from Broken Arrow, OK and would really like to come to KOTH race at Denton, but now may not even have the race. Todd has a email into the pres. we'll see what happens. This ET and MPH is @ 3000lbs that's what we have to weigh here, unless we go to TX and race King Of The Hill, weigh 3100 and put 88mm resrictors in. We have a race tommorow we have some thing to try, hopefully #'s will improve! Shawn

Awesome, I didn't realize you guys were so close to me. Hopefully I'll get to see you guys run at the denton Track. I think KOTH just made some rule changes... I try to make it to KOTH everytime they run in Denton. Let me know if you guys ever make it out to Denton, I come by your pit & say Hi.

Good Luck this weekend.

Hey thanks for the well wishing, we did quite well last night, ending up winning the event, but didn't get to try that much(main goal was to go rounds and win the cash!) Best 60ft of the night was 1.12 best 330ft was 2.97 best 1/8 was 4.45. Race was for 1/4, but we had everyone covered by so much Todd never ran it out the back, last run set track record for 10.5 outlaw car @ 6.82@207 lifting. Ran a 6.88@182 lifting at 5.5 seconds, anyway Todd is talking about going to Kennedale maybe we'll have to see, I'll try to let you know if I remember. Shawn

Congrates on the WIN! sounds like you guys have her dialed in, I can't wait to see it run in person.
I don't usually go to K-dale due to they run on Friday & I don't have time to get out there after work. Let me know when you guys come to Texas to run, I'll se what I can do to make it out.
