hi,
have anyone tips for me, for a correct adjustment ?
in front of my 79 Camino i drive with coil overs from varishock.
this thing is hard, to hard:mad:
when i adjust the shock one or two clicks smarter, the car jumps around like a australian race-mouse.
one or to clicks stronger the car is to hard and i lost all my theeth:willy:
is the spring rate to high or what can i do ?

Step #1 is to read and follow the 8 page tuning guide that came with the coil overs. Varishocks have a huge range of adjustment so there IS a happy medium setting for you. You`ll probably want to start at 6 clicks from soft for starters and go from there. Varishocks aren`t available with spring rates so high they would cause it to ride that harsh. If a setting between 5 and 7 still rides very hard then there`s likely a clearance issue elsewhere in the suspension or the spring preload is cranked up too high and the springs are coil binding making the ride harsh. Check the powder coating between the coils for signs of contact. Mark SC&C

hi again,
for a few minutes i Check the powder coating between the coils for signs of contact.
no contact.
i check also the adjuster nut, and i can go maximum a 1/2 inch lower, then comes the end of the thread on the shock.
i will test it:unibrow:
