Jon, thanks for helping me out on such a short notice w/a quick resolution. Great product and excellent service. Jason, thanks for the connection. I'll show a few pics in the near future. I'm giving the 66 a three week makeover for my kid and after removing the primer, I found out the car is a messsssss. Oh well, I'm just going to make the best of what's there and make it an enjoyable driver. He's a poor college kid and almost sold it but couldn't bring himself to do it. I'm sure he'll enjoy the subtle changes. Shhhhhh. The bottom left Prelude is what he sold to eventually buy the Chevelle, oh, and the Chevy van holds the bike in the back when traveling.:twothumbs
Thanks again Jon.

That Van is Classic! My dad handed me his keys when I was 16 to a 1976 van. Never made it that far though.

Getting there. Tomorrow I'll install sound deadener and monday I'll take it to my son's grandpa and he'll install the headliner and carpet, then I'll bring it home and finish it. Still looking for the quarter window upper trim that houses the felt. They don't make after market replacements for a 300 and the old ones are goners. If anyone has or knows where I can pick up a set, please let me know. I think it's turning out pretty good for a lower budget home job form start to finish. Took my mind off of mine sitting over in paint prison for the last 1 1/2 years. I've already paid for all the work that's suppose to be done, but I think once I'm done here, I'm going to go get it and bring it home and finish it myself. Had enough.

Looks great, Lenie! The way you're making progress and the look of your results, you should have done the Firebird at home! I'm really stoked to have another set of wheels on a NW car. Thanks!

Jason, nothing but compliments from people on the wheels. Again, John, thanks for the quick help. Pretty much done on the outside, give or take a few things here and there.
My son came home for the weekend and took a few pics, so here's a quick couple I thought I'd share with you

Thanks, my son actually posted those pictures so I could see them from work, can't access email from the office and I wanted to see his latest. While getting through college, he's actually worked for a few of the local magazines snapping pics for a little extra dough$, being his dad, I always enjoy his latest. Since his last post we've been getting some awesome pm's about the car. It's actually pretty cool that my son, my dad and my wife's dad all took part in the build and for a home build the final product has been most pleasing. His grandfather, my wife's dad, finished the upholstery today. Once he's out of school he talks about bags and disc's, but it's nice to know you can get this type of outcome without sinking a fistful of cash into the ordeal and yet at the same time build good lifelong memories. Car guys are the greatest people to be around and thanks again gents for the props.

Not to hijack Lenie's thread but we know his wheels well. He went with our Rushforth Concept IIs in 19 and 20"

Gorgeous Chevelle man...very jealous.
