Here's a few pics of an all aluminum, reverse cooled, hydraulic flat tappet 515 BBC with twin turbos that Nelson Racing Engines built. It made 1100HP on 91 octane and 1850HP on 109. It idles at 750 RPM.

Videos coming soon.

What are the dimenisons on that intercooler? It looks tiny in the pictures!

Also, what kind of car is it in? Judging by the fenders, it looks like quite the sleeper...

I am no expert but I can't see only changing fuel spec would make 700hp more. No doubt by changing fuel they can change mixture curves and timing curves and gain a bunch but I clearly can't see or understand that much of a change unless the boost knob was turned up with the 109 and down on the 91. Please inform this young grasshopper.

You got it. High octane = more detonation resistance, which means you can run more boost, put in more fuel to go with the additional air, and more timing... and that means more power. Lots more power.

I had heard through the grape vine that there was a 57' being built for the Riddler. Supposedly the car was at Nelsons having the engine done, I image that this is it.

Looks nice Tom,
So who has some video footage of someone actually standing on it!
I'd like to meet the psycho that's willing to make a street quarter pass with that under his foot.
Let me know if you need a co-pilot!

wow, someone is going to go REAL fast, i would imagine a serious tub with some big ole ET slicks. i mean, 1100 on pump would be hard enough to drive. any idea what tranny? lenco? powerglide?

Any clues on cam specs or the boost level at both power level? What size are the turbos?

I think he just solved my dilemma...
Do you guys sell just engine parts? I know you guys like building complete motors, but for example, could i send you my heads, give you the motor spec and have you build a valve train for it? or have you send me one of your cams..
