i am looking to buy my kit next pay day . after reading through the posts in this section i still did not find what i was looking for . however i did drop frank a line on a kit purchase after reading all the good things you all said about him.

okay onto the questions.

i am looking at the 1cx100-p1sc kit and my question is , is there anybody running this kit on there 69 camaro and if so can i see install pic,s of how the kit goes in. i have a 6 inch cowl hood so im not worried about hat clerances.

second question the 1cx100-d1sc same as above would like to see install pic,s of where you located youe cooler. best i could find was from camcojb but his cooler looks way bigger than the d1sc kit,s cooler .

if any of you are using the p1sc or the d1sc how happy are you with your performance. ? would like to see pic,s and or info.
thanks guys.

Talk to Frank about the kits like you said. The D1SC and P1SC are the same size, pick according to your power goals. I never had an intercooler on any of my Procharged builds, just used water injection instead.

Talk to Troy (Blown353) on this site about the ps brackets; the ATI kits are suspect at best, depending on the pump you're going to use. Any of the ones that have a v-belt bent backwards over the tensioner will have short belt life.

Got your e mail. replied. I think you will be pleasently surprised with pricing.

As I said, there are a few more required pieces to do the set up, Bypass valve and boost refernce fuel pump, so I included that stuff to.

Hey Copo,

You mentionnen you are running a 6" scoop. I have a 4" and an -8-71 BDS. Its going to need a cut and i'm wondering if a 6" would help me keep everything under hood. I might even cut the subframe if i can drop the Motor like 2inches to get it to fit.

Question; do you have a few pics you could shom me with the hood on? i'm not sure of the look and have not been able to see one with it. Must look killer but would better see before buying again...

Any help?

Lead.

(yeah, go with Frank, he's da Man...)

i have a 6 inch bolt on cowl hood. even if you had a 9 inch cowl depending on what type of air cleaner/scoop you run you will need a hole . its pretty hard to keep a 671or even an 871 under the hood where it cant be seen.
when i had my 871 sbc it was 14% over driven and i recently had the oppertunity to ride in a zo6 vette with the pro charger and i noticed a big diffrence in the way it makes power.roots type supercharging is fun it get alot of attention i was in the middle of buying a dyers 871 kit until i had that ride in the vette and now im buying a ds1 kit from frank. if you havent already bought that 871 you might look into a pro charger its clean will fit under your current hood and should someone want to play you will have the total element of surprise. my friend steve has a 69 nova same sub frame as in the camaro with a 6 inch hood and his carbs and his bds style scoop are above the hood. dont know how low your front end will be ive done a 3 inch drop on my 69 all the way around and i have to lift the car by the front frame rails now to get a jack under the x member so you may not want to cut your frame. unless you already have that 871 or want the attention it brings at car shows and stop lights do an under the hood system you wont be sorry . okay if i can get this pick in here is what a 6 inch hood looks like . if you need a close up side angle i will get you one by days end . okay wont let me laod a pic i will email it to you.
