Hey Guys,
I want to go to the SEMA show this year but I heard your job has to be in the automotive industry, is this true? Is it hard to get tickets? I went on the SEMA websight and put in my email in to be alerted when i can registar but haven't seen anything yet. When do they usually open up for registration? Any help much appreciated.
Thanks,
Scott aka Vicious69

Yeah you have to be a member or buisness to attend the show, they dont even start to think about it for months and when they do if you are not a member they may not email you anything. If you really want to go and cant get a pass let me know and you can pay for one through my company so you can get in.

Hmmm...I've already got my registration paid for for this year. I got an email about a week and a half ago?

I figure that if "work" gets in the way this year (good possibility)...then I'm only out 15 bucks...and I can give the badge to someone that can use it!

I want to jump in here and say if anyone has a pass they want to sell I will gladly pay to take it off your hands... I actually need 2 because I bet the misses will want to follow me to Vegas:mad: Something about trust, beer and babes all together in one place that she dont like...LOL

Thanks Chris for the offer I may take you up on that. There would be 3 of us total to go, is that ok? How much would the registration be?

Yeah I thought that it is open to the public now. I'm pretty sure they changed it last year.

I'm surprised. It seems like a lot of shops suddenly find themselves with a bunch more "employees" right before SEMA anyways. So why don't they just open it up?

If you have been there, then you know the answer to this question............. It gets very crowded, sometimes you can barely walk through the buildings as it is, there's so many people. If it was open to the public................ :faint:

That was my point. I don't think they're stopping that many people from going, just making it more of a hassle.
