New to this website was told about from a friend of mine Jason Rushforth thought I would check it out. Really good website with lots of killer cars. Submitted my car last night to Scott and he got it up on the website really fast and made it look good. Thanks Scott. Hope to get some good info and maybe help someone else along the way.
Welcome !
Very sweet car. I am building a 62 Shop car with the same wheel tire size combo as you. We too are running a full air ride. Did you do any notching or sectioning to the rear frame rails ?

When I first set the car down I thought it sat too high with the 22's. So I ended up pulling the frame back out and c-notching about 2". Then the upper shock brackets had to be moved, and cross member above the u-joint had to be modified. When the body went back on I had to modify the body mounts right behind the wheels, and also raise the floor tunnel under the back seat. I also changed the inner structure of the fuel door for more clearance and the fuel door opens up instead of swing out know. And last I put a notch in the trunk pan for the upper control arm on the rear end, after putting bump stops in and changing the upper arm to a hotchkis I don't think that step was needed. The car could go down another 1" or so but I would have to raise the floor tunnel under the back seat some more.
Thats pretty much what we experienced. Thats why I asked. I thought about running 20's instead but am in the process of doing exactly what you explained. It sat a little high for my taste. We also made the tunnel a little larger in order to sit lower and are running a one piece driveshaft. We used a Fab 9 rear and modified the air ride components to fit.
Thanks alot for the feedback. Now if I can just decide on a paint color :faint:
That's an amazing car!

Love the color combo ! Can we get a shot of the dash and the instrument cluster ? What type of gauges are those ? The whole dash setup really works nice !!

I hear that type of comment all the time with mine. And my comment back is simply, pay me to do it your way, and I will.

Chris, you emailed me images while your bubble was under construction and it looked great then. The finished product came out beautiful, you should be very proud to have such a nice piece. Good luck and enjoy!

Wow,very nice car welcome to the site. I love color combo on car. I guess what nice about our hobby is everyone has their own way of seeing what they like and don't like about a car. If we all liked the same thing all the time most of cars would look the same, and if you like those wheels then that's what count's. Bitchin car  Joe
