This project is just about done and I'm gearing up for my next build. Since I'm not rich and I don't have a warehouse to keep a bunch of cars in I decided to sell the Fairlane to free up cash and space.

But she is going to a good home back east and the new owner is even a board member here. The funny thing is that he's a "Chevy guy" that now owns a Mopar and a Ford. lol

Going to miss the car though. It drives so nice and can destroy the tires at most speeds. The ride is better than my Camaro (even thoug the steering isn't).

I still need to finish the interior, run her down the 1/4 mile, shoot a feature and then install and AOD transmission since the C4 sucks on the freeway. Then she heads to the new owner who I know will drive her hard.

We did a huge burn-out today and video taped it. When I figure out how to get it burned to my computer I will post up the video. I think I need drag radials in back if I have any hope of getting traction.

It was sure fun playing for the blue oval team...

Love the car, have been following the build from the begining. If I had the cash I know I wouldn't have hestatated to buy it. I am hopeing to use the feature of the engine build as the basis for my 351 Windsor build.

No, but this will really confuse you, it will be residing at my shop. I promise though, I did not buy it.

How about telling the new owner the Nittos in the trunk are mine and you are just shipping them in the car to save money?????

OK, my second/third guess is that Yancy has a little money left over and has scored yet another great deal!

Actually he's tired of sleeping in the Dart and felt the Fairlane would give him more room to stretch out..

The dart is in my garage right now, getting really cozy with the goat. It is a sweet car, just needs some TLC to go from show car status to real driver. We should have it sorted out in a couple weeks.

Yancey and family are in the process of moving to Pigeon Forge, so for now these two cars will be in my shop, SWEET!

Don't get too exicited.. I have 3-4 weeks before this car is ready to ship. Mostly due to the AOD install. But, it will be worth it.

It's cool since I can drive her when I come out for the RTTH4 event :)

You have already driven the Fairlane, if I were you, I would hold out to drive the Dart!!!
Either way, we look forward to seeing you here in September. Who knows, maybe you can drive the Charger then?
