I need another carbon fiber piece to compliment the valve covers. I was thinking the intake tube would be a good idea. Does anyone know where I can have one made?
Classic Chevy 5 speeds 2nd gen camaro had one but the article didn't have information on the mfg.
As always, thanks.

Hi Rich,
You may want to call Turn-Key Engine Supply. I know that is where Jeff got his LS from. Here is link http://www.turnkeyenginesupply.com/, I dunno if they sell parts only but I would call and ask for Kolby.

i saw an article online a few weeks back, and i simply cannot find it now.. but it was a guy who had made all kinds of cool stuff in CF, split intake tube for a TT-supra in CF, and a timetrial bicycle.. and what he did was make the part in polystyrene and covered it in carbonfibre/epoxy.. when it cured he poured thinner into it dissolving the polystyrene... and voila! a hollow CF part with no expensive mould

Try Rhys Sanderson www.carbonguy.com He did all the CF work on our car. Awesome job!

You can buy carbon fiber sleave I know that and then put it over a tube and then resin, if your not to concerned on weight.

Guys, please let me know what specs you are looking for, i.e. tubing diameter, radius bend, etc. I am interested in picking up some tubing also and have a good contact overseas that can get some carbon tubing parts. If the order is larger than just a couple pieces I can probably get it done. Thanks!
