I know the bmw z4's came with electronic power steering in 2004, but it looks a little different than that. would be a cool system in a hotrod but $6,120:wow:

i wonder if they took that from the chevy malibus and cobalts. i hvent looked at too many of em at work, but it looks like it could be it

Here's one on a Can-Am car I saw last year. It looks a lot like a wiper motor!
The chassis is all black anodized aluminum, but the rivets are a different color.

I demo'd it at PRI last year. Worked great. They wired it thru a switch to show power assist vs manual. Great for packaging problems and saves a few HP. I never asked how much it cost, though. :faint:

And I thought their pricing was out of line on their Chevelle rack kit, :rolleyes: .

my only question is how many turns lock to lock you got if your car dies or blow the engine.and how much power does it take to run.

i know at work we play with those quite a bit and you can play with the wheel with engine off for about 30min before u start to see the battery drain
