Chassis, Suspension, Steering, Brakes

Frame: Custom built by Art Morrison.  2x4x.120 frame rails, 1.75x.083 4130 12 pt cage.  Custom floor, firewall, wheel tubs, transmission tunnel, and trunk fabricated from various gages of 1018 cold rolled steel.

Suspension: (front) Scratch built custom SLA.  Features 4130 tubular lower control arms, needle-bearing upper control arms, Howe Racing ball joints, Stock Car Products modular sway bar, C4 hubs, and custom fabricated aluminum uprights, coilover mounts, and crossmember.  (rear) Scratch built custom road racing 3 link.  Features adjustable control arms and panhard bar plus custom sway bar.  HAL QA1 coilover shocks, and Lensing springs all around.  Designed for 1+G in street settings, 1.15G in track mode.

Steering: custom Tony Woodward rack, Lefthander Chassis tie rods, and custom machined 4340 steel steering arms.

Brakes: Front- Wilwood 14� 2pc rotor, slotted/cross drilled, Wilwood 6 piston radial mount caliper, Rear- Wilwood 12� 2pc rotor, slotted/ cross drilled, Wilwood 4 piston fixed caliper, Pedal assembly- Wilwood firewall mount dual master cylinder and clutch assembly with balance-bar adjustable front to rear bias.  Hydraulics- Wilwood 0.75� master cylinders (x2)

Exhaust: Custom built 1-3/4� 304 SS primary tube headers to a 3� exhaust with fabricated X-pipe, with bumper outlet.  Click here to see the article that John wrote for Car Craft Magazine.

Fuel system: Custom built 16 gallon baffled aluminum fuel cell with sump in rear trunk area, external Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump, stainless steel hardlines.

Wheels and Tires: Kinesis K18 3pc rims, dark gray anodized. (front) 18x9 (rear) 18x11. Pirelli 265/35/ZR18 and 315/30/ZR18 P Zero tires.

Miscellaneous: Delrin/4130 bushings. Lokar E-brake handle.

Engine, Valvetrain, & Underhood

Engine:  427 using Rapid Motorsports sleeved LS2.  Lunati reciprocating assembly.

Internal: Lunati Pro-Modified rods, Diamond forged pistons. ARP hardware throughout. WAR drivetrain and custom ground camshaft.

Intake: GMPP single-plane throttle-body intake, Cup-style aluminum cowl induction

Heads: WAR ASA ported and polished LS6 aluminum heads.

Engine Management: Holley 950 controller and throttle body with custom built wiring, using MIL spec connectors

Wiring: Painless wiring 18 circuit body harness

Transmission: TKO-600 5 speed

Clutch: Quarter Master 8.5 inch dual disc with custom lightened flywheel.
 

Rear End:  Morrison 9" housing, Moser Engineering aluminum 3rd member.  Detroit Locker differential, 3.25 ratio, 35 spline axles. 
 

Engine Cooling: Ron Davis aluminum radiator with 1-1/2� tubes and dual electric fans.

Air Conditioning: Vintage Air r134a complete system

Hoses: Earl�s braided hoses throughout

Electrical Systems

Front Wiring Harness: Painless Wiring 18 circuit body harness

Instrument Harness: Painless Wiring Dash harness for Electric speedo

Instrument Gauges: Auto Meter Cobalt 2 gauges.

Power Windows: Spal powered regulators and door locks

Miscellaneous: Rear mounted Optima battery, Detroit Speed battery hold down.

 

Interior & Trunk

Seats: Sparco Torino 2 race seats in grey leather

Interior Trim: Custom interior in grey/blue leather. Sprayed in insulation/noise/heat dampener.

Shifter: Tremec Billet shifter

Steering Column & Wheel: Ididit tilt column with Borgeson U joints, Sparco 3 spoke racing wheel with pull off hub.

Mirrors: Cup-style carbon fiber

Miscellaneous: Sparco 5pt belts with cam quick release latches.

Exterior

Body Panels: Harwood fiberglass cowl induction hood, with speed pins, custom hinges, gas operated actuation. Custom adjustable front and rear spoilers.  Fabricated aluminum trim, stainless mesh, fiberglass bumpers, etc. 

Paint:  Dark Blue with metallic gray and anodized aluminum trim.

Trim & Moldings:  custom fabricated and anodized aluminum, custom II Much badge.
